Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Optimisation

An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is the tool that many Recruiters and Job Boards rely on to automate their recruiting and recruitment operations.  The ATS scans/filters Resumes/CV’s for keywords and job criteria listed in the Job Advertisement.

 

Resumes/CV’s uploaded to an ATS are only viewed by the Recruiter and/or Employer if the ATS matches them to the job ad. 

 

Some ATS’s will forward all the responses to the Recruiter and/or Employer in order of relevance.  Some ATS’s will only forward a limited number.

 

It's a well-known fact that on average, a Recruiter and/or Employer will spend an average of 6 seconds reviewing an individual resume.
