Career Counselling / Guidance

“I’d like to share with you a little about my background.  I find Clients feel more comfortable knowing who I am and why I am a Career Consultant and Success Coach.”

- Suzanne Johnstone (Managing Director & Founder)

I’ve been working within the Recruitment Industry since 1996, both as Employer and the Recruiter.  I’ve been matching Job Seekers to Employers for over 20 years.  The most frequent complaint I get from Job Seekers is that they may apply for over 100 jobs and that either they get no replies from Recruiters or Employers, or if they do manage to get an interview (even to just register with an Agency), it’s an unsatisfying “waste of time.

Many Job Seekers believe that they have the right skills for the job they have applied for and can’t understand what they are doing wrong.  On average, it can take even a skilled Job Seeker up to 8 weeks to find a new job.  In some cases, up to and over 6 months.

If you are one of the unfortunate Job Seekers struggling, you may be affected in other areas of your life as well as self-esteem and worth...

Most people can get a Job.  But is it a Job you want?  Or a Career you want?

There’s a big difference between a JOB and a CAREER

A Job is a way to earn money and pay the bills.  The work is just that – work.  It’s not a “passion”.  For some people, that’s enough.

A Career is more aligned with a PURPOSE.  So many people define themselves with who they are with what they do.  In general, people who have a Career are “passionate” about the work they do and the path they have chosen.

What do you want?  A Job or a Career?

How do you work out which one is for you?

In today’s Job Market, the odds ARE stacked against the average Job Seeker.

You must SELL yourself.

You must look at the Job Application Process through the eyes of the Recruiter and/or Employer.

Ask yourself, how can I be seen?  How can I compete?

That's where we come in...

It's really as simple as that...
