Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
Have you ever heard the term “SEO”? It stands for “Search Engine Optimisation”.
Broken down, it kind of explains itself...
“Search Engine” – database or website is a program that searches for and identifies items in a database that correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, used especially for finding particular sites on the World Wide Web. (Dictionary.com)
“Optimisation” - the action of making the best or most effective use of a situation or resource. (Dictionary.com)
Going back to the LinkedIn Profiles & Updating page, we mentioned SEO and the need to have your Profile Content written in a way to get you noticed.
Several Job Boards are also Search Engines. LinkedIn, Indeed, SimplyHired to name a few.
CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in terms of Recruitment is a sourcing (search) engine. The Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is what manages the applications and the CRM is what allows Recruiters to find you.
If a Recruiter does a Search in their CRM, the OPTIMISATION of your Cover Letter/Resume/CV in the ATS is what will get you noticed.
Ask yourself, how can I be seen? How can I compete?
That's where we come in...

It's really as simple as that...
